my name is

I am a small-town, multi-published photographer, memory keeper, and full-time chaos coordinator (also known as a soccer mom, plant lady, and certified lover of golden hour).

I am the face and heart behind Kindled Ash Photography LLC, a one-woman show based right here in Troy, Ohio. With over seven years of professional experience and a camera that’s practically glued to my hand, I specialize in capturing authentic moments with a warm, moody, and storytelling style.

Photography means a lot to me. Not just as an art form, but as a way to preserve the memories we don’t always get to keep. Growing up without many photos of my own childhood made me realize just how important it is to freeze those small, meaningful moments. That’s why I do what I do: to give people the kind of memories I wish I had.

When I’m not behind the lens, you can usually find me on the sidelines cheering at a youth soccer game, tending to my overgrown garden, chasing my kiddo around, or getting lost in a good book or a creative project. I’m a big believer in good energy, staying grounded, and finding magic in the mundane.

I keep my sessions relaxed and real, so no awkward posing or pressure. I want you to feel comfortable being exactly who you are, and I’ll be your biggest hype woman while we create something beautiful together.

Whether you’re growing your family or just want to capture the season of life you’re in, I’d be honored to help you document it, honestly, affordably, and with heart.

Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving.

What you have caught on film is captured forever…

It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.
